At the 2009 annual general meeting of Skål International – Malta George Schembri,

Donald Pace Bonello, Taziana Grech, Sandra La Rosa, Diana McNamara, Terence

Mirabelli, Frans Camilleri, Anthony Coleiro, Joseph Borg Olivier and Giovanni Corrieri

were re-elected to the committee.

Coleiro was elected president, La Rosa vice president, Grech treasurer and Mirabelli

 secretary; the latter later resigned from the committee and Camilleri was voted in as secretary.

New Member inducted into Skål

 

At the conclusion of the Annual General Meeting, Edward Paris (pictured right),  was inducted into the club by Schembri (pictured left); the first new member of the merged clubs.

Mr. Paris is the Administrative Secretary of FATTA - The Federated Association of Travel & Tourism Association.

17th Annual General Meeting

Skal Malta held its  17th Annual General Meeting at 17.30hrs at the Palm Suite, Intercontinentall Hotel in Paceville. This was a particularly and important meeting since the two clubs the Valletta Club and the St. Julian's Club have now merged into one Club.

The merged club is now known as the Skål Club of Valletta.

A new committee was also elected during the AGM, which was held at the InterContinental Malta. George Schembri was elected president, Anthony Coleiro was elected vice president, Terence Mirabelli was elected secretary and Taziana Grech was elected treasurer.

Sandra La Rosa, Diana McNamara, Frans Camilleri, Joseph Borg Olivier, Vanni Corrieri and Donald Pace Bonello are committee members.
